So I was hit by a sudden craving for sushi over the weekend and I decided to oblige. The closest sushi spot to my university is at Al Qasba which is a picturesque location in the heart of Sharjah. I like to call it the Sharjah JBR equivalent. The steady traffic of people, numerous restaurants and glamorous waterside creates an all round lively buzz which you won’t find in many other places in Sharjah.

I went with a friend, and we started our evening by stuffing ourselves with sushi, then we took a step down memory lane by going on one of the many rides along the dock. It was great, and really put me in the mood for Global village, I plan to make a trip there before the end of the month.
