Hi Guys,
So as you know my blog is still relatively new and I am constantly trying to fill up my sections without compromising quality. Please be patient with the number of posts in my Explore and Workout sections, I am getting round to it. I created the Explore category in the hopes that I’d force myself to go out more, but God had other plans. I’m currently juggling university, this blog and several other commitments so you can say that my social life is somewhat nonexistent. I rarely go out and the few times that I do it’s almost always on a whim and I never have my camera to capture the moment. Regardless, in the spirit of 2015 and getting myself in order, I am determined to post here at least once a month. I created a bucket list of things I’d like to try and I’d appreciate it if you helped me fill it up. What fun things have you done recently? What would you like to see me do? Kayaking? Skydiving? This section is everything goes; so all your suggestions are welcome.
So for this month’s post, I attended the launch of Physique TV’s new show called “Fit Chefs” and it was a very pleasant day out. I enjoyed watching the celebrity chefs cook behind the scene at the beach, and of course the tasting was my favorite part. The first season of the show will commence in February on local channels; it aims to reinvent traditional Arabic food into healthier and tasty meals. I fell in love with the Zucchini pasta Chef Nader made and I really hope to recreate the recipe soon. I’m particularly excited about this because although I’ve lived in the UAE for some years now my knowledge on Arabic food is shamefully lacking. Fit Chefs is a great opportunity to learn more about healthy local cuisine, plus I love food shows. I’m addicted to one too many Food Network shows, and I have an unhealthy obsession with YouTube Food channels. I often catch myself watching a food channel then realize its been hours, its crazy! I can literally look at food all day, it’s a wonder it took me this long to start my blog. Anyway, if you’re in the region do check the show out and if you’re not, well you can watch it online at Physique-Tv.com
Have a great week and see you in my next post.
