Blueberries are oh SO delicious! They top the list of super foods as they are packed with anti-oxidants,vitamins C, E, riboflavin, niacin, folate and cancer fighting nutrients! Have I convinced you? No? Okay, they also taste great in everything! Salads, pies, cakes, parfaits, smoothies or even just on their own! Here is a quick recipe to include blueberries in your everyday breakfast! You won’t regret it.
Directions
Mix the yogurt with the salt & cinnamon and layer it with the cereal, banana, and blueberries in your favourite breakfast bowl! Top with the Date syrup.
Ingredients
1 cup low fat greek yogurt
1/2 cup fresh blueberries
1 handful of your favourite wholegrain cereal/Nuts/Granola – ( I used Weetabix minis)
1/2 banana (sliced)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sweetener (I used Date Syrup)
